Yeah so basically we have these floating gardens we put the plants on top, roots grow through hang underneath great fish habitat and other habitat bring in a bunch of Natives and really take these kind of existing sea walls and kind of areas where you can’t really have a natural edge and transform them into a sort of natural edge condition
I tell everyone around Chicago that they should visit the Wild Mile. I try to go on walks through there at least once a week, just because it’s such a lovely respite from metal and concrete and it gives me hope for rewilding in the city.
