At least art goes for the long game, you know? Poems are many things, and often lousy, but they are not meant to be disposable, nor do they require a particular operating system to work.
Writing your ideas into prose is maybe the most forward-compatible form of anything you build. Describe it such that it can be built (again).
Like language as intermediate representation but for archival purposes.
