I found this album through Fluxblog’s mention of it and the initial song is definitely the hook that pulls you through the rest of the songs: finding individual and communal support through dance. This album is a reminder and anchor that dance music can be a therapy.
Personally, though, I’ll mostly come back to this album for the Mum Does The Washing political song and the body-moving bop that is Don’t Let It Get You Down.
